The Three Billy Goats' Raft!

This week for our Fairy Tale STEM rotations, we went to Ms. Donlon's class to help the Three Billy Goats get past that pesky Bridge Troll! Our solution? Building a raft!

The giraffes worked in teams and used limited supplies to make a raft for the billy goats to use to cross the river. Each raft had to hold one "billy goat" eraser without sinking into the water

We noticed that rafts with the largest surface area were the most successful designs, but everyone had fun creating and testing our their designs. Next week, we will head to the Elephant class for more Fairy Tale STEM fun with Ms. Bucklin!
