New Reading Buddies!

We were SO excited to begin reading with our new reading buddies this week! They are excellent listeners, they help us tackle trouble spots and stay focused, and best of all, they read with us for our entire independent reading time! Who are these amazing, fantastic, super-star helpers, you ask??

BEANIE BABIES!! Ms. Riley brought part of her old (and vast) collection of Beanie Babies to read with us during Reader's Workshop. There were lots (and lots) to choose from, so everyone was able to find a friend who was just right for them. We've had a lot of fun reading with them over the last few days, and they seem to be enjoying our books just as much as we are!
