#Shelfies!

We've been getting very excited about reading in 2R. We've been building up our reading stamina, tackling trouble in our reading, and growing as readers through Partner Reading and our daily Reader's Share. This week, we started talking about what kinds of books we like to read and recommending books to our friends! 

"this book is about my NH animal the #whale, it has a great ending!"

"I really like the #MagicTreeHouse books, I like how they travel through time"

"I love chapter books, they challenge me! #challengeaccepted" 

"this book is supposed to be scary but at the end there is a #twist!"

Everyone took a #shelfie with their favorite book from their book bin. We posted the pictures on "Rileygram" with captions describing why they were our favorite. Many friends chose books about their New Hampshire animals because they've loved learning about them so much. It's been a lot of fun to talk about our reading as well as to recommend books to our friends! We are #SuperReaders!
