During the month of December, all SMS students grades K-5 participated in the Hour of Code during a school-wide assembly as well as their time in MakerSpace. Mr. Gagnon has posted some of the sites and programs they've used on his blog! Some of the giraffes have really taken to coding by using the iPad app Kodable as well as a website called Lightbot that is also available as an iPad app! Both of these apps teach kids about the basics of programming through fun games and puzzles. Check them out at home!
