Soar Into Second!

We've slowly been building up our reading stamina for Reader's Workshop, and to remind ourselves of our hard work, we created a bulletin board to keep track of how long we are able to read for during the school day!

We are also enjoying reading to our new Beanie Baby Buddies every day! We will get to meet our 5th Grade Reading Buddies in Mrs. DeLello's class next week! 

As we continue to soar up into the sky with our stamina, we are also learning about choosing "Just Right" books and strategies for working through trouble spots in out reading. If you are looking for ways to find "Just Right" books at home, feel free to ask Ms. Riley about your child's reading level. You can use tools such as Book Wizard or Level It Books to find books to read at home! Remember, nightly reading is KEY!
