Celebrating Nonfiction

Since beginning our latest reading unit with tackling nonfiction text, we have learned a countless number of new facts to add to the knowledge that was already in our brains!

Reading in nonfiction books has given us the opportunity to explore topics we did not know much about as well as dig deeper into topics we already know and love. On Monday, we decided to do a mini mid-unit celebration to celebrate all that we have learned so far. We cracked out the party blowers and "made some noise" for each of our favorite facts we've learned so far from our reading.

We've had a blast growing our knowledge, making connections, and learning new facts from our friends, and we are excited to continue on our journey into nonfiction reading!
