This week, we celebrated Read Across America with lots of Dr. Seuss Fun! We launched with a school-wide morning meeting with Mr. Lowe and Miss Bonkers, who read us the story Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!

| Not only did we dress wacky for Wacky Wednesday, but our classroom got a little wacky, too! It was our job to spot all the wacky things happening in our classroom, just like the character did in the story |
We also made some giraffes a little wacky too!
Dress As Your Favorite Book Character Day
We really enjoyed guessing who our friends were dressed up as! We had visitors from Judy Moody, Star Wars, Rainbow Magic, Calvin and Hobbes, Amelia Bedelia, Diary of A Wimpy Kid, and more!

Curl Up and Read Day
In addition to the many mystery readers we had this week, we also had Mr. Goldsmith in to share a story with us during our Drop Everything and Read hour! We brought our stuffies, pillows, slippers, and even our PJs to curl up with while we read.
We also got to swap some of our books with one another so we would have some new stories to read, and afterwards we got to watch the cartoon version of Dr. Seuss's story The Lorax!
We had loads of fun dressing up and celebrating our reading this week with Dr. Seuss
