Can't Stop The Seedling!

All of second grade has been working very hard over the last few weeks to prepare for our Second Grade Play Can't Stop The Seedling! (written by Ms. Riley!) which is a story about a packet of seeds being planted in a school garden and the friends who help them grow into big, beautiful plants

All of our singing has also helped our own plants grow big and strong, too! Check out the latest photo of our second grade garden bed:

After spending lots of time rehearsing onstage, in music, and in our classrooms, it was finally time to perform for the school and for our families! 

On Wednesday afternoon, we performed the play for all of our SMS friends. It was great to have our dress rehearsal in front of so many familiar faces!

Finally, it was time to perform for our friends and families on Thursday night! Before the show, the giraffes all met in our classroom to get ready 

While the giraffes did an amazing job at our dress rehearsal, they were even MORE incredible when we performed for our families!

All of second grade did a truly amazing job performing for their friends and family. Ms. Donlon, Mrs. Healey, Ms. Bucklin, and I could not be more proud!!
