On Wednesday, we got to go on our first field trip of the year to the Portsmouth Music Hall to see The Rainbow Fish, performed by The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia!
We loved riding the bus together as a class over to Portsmouth, and we were even more excited to find out we got to sit in the FRONT ROWS!
The puppeteers used stick puppets and black lights to perform three Rainbow Fish stories. It was pretty amazing to see how the puppeteers would disappear when the house lights were turned off and all you could see were the puppets. Our favorite was the giant blue whale!
Thank you very much to our wonderful chaperones who helped to make it such a fun and successful first field trip. We had a blast, we can't wait to return there in the spring!
