While we have been writing lots of different kinds of poems in the last few weeks, on Friday we explored a new kind of poetry called Book Spine Poems! To make a book spine poem, all you need to do is look at the different titles of books and stack them in a way that helps them tell a small story
Many of the giraffes worked together and on their own to create some Book Spine Poems out of some of our favorite reads!
We will continue to explore more with poetry in the weeks ahead as we begin getting ready to make our class poetry book!
