A New Crayon Story!

We have been working hard all week on editing and revising our crayon postcards, and when Mr. Fosher heard about our latest project, he came by to share a new crayon story with us! 

The story was called Red: A Crayon's Story and it was all about a crayon who wasn't quite sure what his talents were until another crayon helped him find is way. We can't wait to share our crayon story with Mr. Fosher and the rest of the world once they are complete! 

Why 2R Believes Mr. Fosher Should Be NHASP's Elementary School Principal of the Year

On Friday, we supported Mr. Fosher, who has been nominated for NHASP's 2015 Elementary School Principal of the Year, by sporting out SMS gear and decorating our hallways with letters and pictures to show the committee members just how lucky we are to have Mr. Fosher as our principal (and boss!) These are a few of the many reasons why we believe Mr. Fosher is truly the best:

Our Special Guest Reader!

On Friday, our principal Mr. Fosher came to our classroom to read A Giraffe and A Half by Shel Silverstein. We noticed the book was a rhyming book and that it followed a specific pattern, so we helped Mr. Fosher out a bit with the words :) After reading the story, Mr. Fosher told us that Shel Silverstein also wrote songs, and played us his song The Unicorn, which was covered by the Irish Rovers!
