Last week, we began our first Math Menu of the school year. Every week, the giraffes will receive a new "Math Menu" of center choices that will be open throughout the week for the giraffes to explore. Before we begin our choices each day, we warm up for math together and then we are free to make our choices! Some centers involve working with a teacher and others allow us to work and explore independently. Once we've made a choice, we cross it off our menu and by the end of the week, we've had the opportunity to try everything on our menu! Here are a few pictures of activities from our last two menus:

Our focus for our math menus over the last two weeks has been exploring the math materials in our classroom and counting/building numbers. We even got to go on a number scavenger hunt and work on making tallies! We can't wait to see what's on the menu for next week :)
